Denis is the founding member of Juge Napolitano and has become known as the father of workers compensation in Louisiana. He is a true intellectual who is creative in his successful handling of legal defenses for his clients. He built his reputation through not only strong litigation but through pragmatism and his aptitude for helping to draft the law and many of the amendments to the Act since 1983, as well as authoring several books and articles on Louisiana Workers’ Compensation. Adjusters, Judges, and lawyers alike are known to keep a copy of Denis’ publications on hand for quick reference. A mentor and a teacher, Denis has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars sponsored by Loyola University School of Law, Louisiana State University Law School, Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Business and Industry and The Defense Research Institute.
He remains a leader in the industry and is still innovative in his approach to helping the business and insurance industry. More recently, Denis has been instrumental in finding ways to save clients on their biggest exposure, Workers’ Compensation medical costs/fees.
